Which one fits

honestly, it depends.

Both are good at different things. Here’s how we’d choose.

Choose Rosebud if…

  • You want feedback as you write longer entries, by text or voice
  • You want guided journals built on frameworks like CBT or gratitude practice
  • You journal on Android or a Mac as well as an iPhone
  • You voice-journal in a language other than English

Choose Everblue if…

  • You’d rather be asked one small question than start from a blank page
  • You want your entries in your own words, not a summary of them
  • You want to see, edit, delete, or pause what the AI remembers about you
  • You like a companion with a cloud type, missions, and a shop to keep you coming back
  • You want a lower monthly price: Pro is $6.99 a month

In Everblue, you tap “make this a journal entry” and your answers become a first-person entry in your words. Anything you write yourself is saved exactly as written.

03Memory

Everblue’s “what cloudy knows” screen lists what Cloudy remembers. You can edit it, delete it, or pause memory altogether.
