ENFJ: the bonfire cloud

the warmth people gather around

The bonfire cloud is Everblue’s name for the ENFJ cloud type: someone who recharges with people, leans curious, decides heart first, and plans ahead. You bring people together and help them grow. You feel what a room needs and you like having a plan to make it happen. It’s a lens, not a diagnosis.

what bonfire clouds are like

You bring people together and help them grow. You feel what a room needs and you like having a plan to make it happen.

Bonfire clouds recharge with people. A good conversation, a full table, or a group project going well can leave you more energized than when you started. Your mind is curious, especially about people: what they could become and what might help them get there.

You decide heart first, reading the room and asking what would be best for everyone in it. You also plan ahead. You like turning good intentions into something real, whether that’s a dinner, an event, or a friend’s next step, and you’re usually the one who sends the group message.

Your strengths are warmth and encouragement. You notice potential in people and say it out loud. You can bring very different people together and make them feel like a group. When you believe in someone, they tend to start believing in themselves.

The growth edge is your own fire. You can spend so much energy on everyone else’s growth that you run low without noticing. It helps to let some people solve their own problems, and to check whether you’re helping because they asked or because their discomfort is hard for you to watch. Time off counts as part of the plan.

steady or stormy

Every cloud type comes with a weather suffix, read from how strongly your feelings move.

ENFJ-Steady

feelings move through you like light weather; slow to rattle.

A steady bonfire burns warm and even. You can hold a lot of people’s needs without wobbling, which makes you a natural host and leader. Remember to sit by the fire yourself.

ENFJ-Stormy

you feel things big and deep; your weather changes, and that is part of you.

A stormy bonfire feels everyone’s highs and lows on top of its own. It’s part of why you’re so good with people. It also means you need a place to put all that feeling, and a journal works well.

how bonfire clouds tend to journal

Bonfire clouds often write about other people and plans. Journaling helps you most when it’s the one conversation that’s just about you. Prompts that ask what you need tend to be the hardest, and the most useful.

  1. 1who did you help today, and did they ask?
  2. 2what would you do this weekend if no one needed anything from you?
  3. 3whose growth are you most invested in right now, and why?
  4. 4what are you hoping someone will notice about you?
  5. 5which plan is for you, and which ones are for other people?
  6. 6when did you last say no without explaining?
  7. 7what would it feel like to let someone else host for once?
  8. 8what’s one thing you want to grow in yourself this month?
