Cloud type
INFP: the daydream cloud
a soft inner world with strong colors
The daydream cloud is Everblue’s name for the INFP cloud type: someone who recharges alone, leans curious, decides heart first, and goes with the flow. You live by what feels true to you. Your imagination runs deep, and you care more about meaning than about getting things perfectly in order. It’s a lens, not a diagnosis.
- I · energy: recharge alone
- N · mind: curious

what daydream clouds are like
You live by what feels true to you. Your imagination runs deep, and you care more about meaning than about getting things perfectly in order.
Daydream clouds recharge alone, usually somewhere inside a book, a playlist, a notebook, or a long thought. Your mind is curious and drifts toward what could be, which means you often have a whole story running quietly next to the actual day.
You decide heart first, and specifically by what feels true. A choice can look fine on paper and still feel wrong, and you’ll listen to that feeling. Your rhythm goes with the flow. Rigid schedules feel like a coat that doesn’t fit, so you tend to plan loosely and follow your energy instead.
Your strengths are depth and kindness. You notice small beauty other people walk past, you can sit with someone’s sadness without flinching, and you care about doing things for real reasons. When something matters to you, you hold on to it with surprising stubbornness.
The growth edge is the gap between the inner world and the outer one. Ideas can stay daydreams longer than you’d like, and practical things can pile up while you’re somewhere else. Small, concrete steps help more than big resolutions. So does sharing a bit more of what’s going on inside, because people usually want to know.
steady or stormy
Every cloud type comes with a weather suffix, read from how strongly your feelings move.
INFP-Steady
feelings move through you like light weather; slow to rattle.
A steady daydreamer keeps a calm surface over a rich inner world. You can feel deeply without being knocked over by it, which makes you a gentle presence for others.
INFP-Stormy
you feel things big and deep; your weather changes, and that is part of you.
A stormy daydreamer feels every color at full strength. The highs are vivid and so are the lows. Writing things down gives the feelings a shape, which often makes them easier to carry.
how daydream clouds tend to journal
Daydream clouds are often natural journalers, though entries can come in bursts. You might write three pages one night and nothing for a week, which is fine. Prompts that pull the inner story into today tend to land well.
- 1what felt most true to you today?
- 2what’s a daydream you keep coming back to, and what is it really about?
- 3what small beautiful thing did you notice that nobody else seemed to?
- 4which value of yours got tested this week?
- 5what’s one tiny step that would bring a daydream closer?
- 6what are you feeling that you haven’t told anyone?
- 7what would your life look like if it matched your insides a little more?
- 8what are you holding on to that might be okay to put down?
types that pair well, and types that challenge you
Just for fun. Any two clouds can get along; these are only the ones that tend to make the weather interesting.
pairs well with
- ENFJ · the bonfire cloud: the bonfire draws you out gently and believes in your ideas out loud.
- ISFJ · the blanket cloud: the blanket handles the details with care and never rushes your feelings.
might challenge you
- ESTJ · the bridge cloud: the bridge wants a clear plan. You want it to feel right first.
- ENTJ · the summit cloud: the summit moves fast toward the goal and may skip the part you care about most.
